When Corinth Reformed’s staff was evaluating potential managed service providers, the church’s data was very much at risk. They using old servers and running old software without adequate protection.
“Just before we began with STS,” he says, “our worst fears were realized as a virus took down our servers, and we lost everything: email, shared drives, data, and our church management system.”
The risks associated with this loss, Raffa says, were tremendous. The church’s membership records, email threads, essential files, and donation history were gone.
“If STS had not been able to recover all of this,” he adds, “we would have been in very, very bad shape.”
How STS Fixed Their Problem
Within a month, Gaffa explains that STS had upgraded Corinth Reform’s email system and church management system, restored its lost emails, and recovered the church’s shared drives. STS stayed on to quickly fix any bugs and lingering issues in the new system.
“The STS Team did much of its work remotely, yet also had a strong on-site presence during the critical phase of restoring IT services to us,” he adds.
